Value study of colorful (or black and white) drapery folds, in Alphacolor pastels (chunks) and pastel pencils, pink pearl, and kneaded eraser and pencil sharpener on white sketch paper.

Drapery can be pinned to a cork board or draped over something tall ( and stable) or suspended from a wooden clothes hanger and and hung on a door frame. It can be the draping folds of a table cloth, a piece of fabric, or a sheet – and should be lit from one side!

Mine was draped on a tall candlestick sitting on an upside-down bowl.
