Participants in Color and Composition for Collage Artists explore color and design problems through hands-on exercises and learn about the history of collage and is contribution to the art of the last and current centuries. In addition, there will be instruction on structural approaches to composition and participants will learn about a selection of adhesives, acrylic transfers, and mechanics of using different weight papers. On-going instructor feedback supports participants as they explore the integration of color, composition and new media.

Hours for the Collage Weekend are 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The two day workshop fee is $250.00. All materials, access to all tools, continental breakfast and refreshments are included.

Space is limited and registrations will be honored in the order in which they are received. The workshop is limited to 7 participants and is held at the Gateway CDC Art Center at the corner of 39th and Rhode Island Ave in Brentwood MD.
